COVID 19

As you know will have seen recently the government took the unprecedented step to close all schools in the UK, with effect from Monday 23rd March.

If you are not a key worker*, your child does not have an EHCP or a Social worker then school will be closed from Monday 23rd March. Work will be provided as follows:

Pupils in school prior to closure will have received a home-learning pack from their class teacher which also details websites and apps to support learning.

From Tuesday 24th March, by 9:30am, daily activities will be posted on the school website to further support learning at home. These will be found under the Children tab then choose the appropriate year group.

Each year group has a contact email address available from the school website.

If you are a key worker*, or your child has an EHCP or a Social worker

We are working hard to prepare suitable childcare from Monday 23rd March. At the moment please be prepared to send your child to Swallowdale from 8.30am to 4.00pm. Please enter and collect children from the main entrance. If you need to drop off later or collect earlier please also come to the main office.

Although, we will try to ensure we are able to offer this service at your child’s regular setting please be aware this may need to change as we are currently trying to assess suitable safeguarding and staffing levels across our schools. In the future it may be necessary to attend a site which is different to your child’s usual school.
