Big Moves

Published: Friday, 05 May 2017

Big moves is an interactive programme led by Mrs Baker that supports children’s physical development and impacts on wider school life, including developing children’s listening and concentration, learning success and appropriate behaviours. The children have enjoyed learning lots of different moves as they listen to stories!  They enjoyed showing the rest of Key Stage 1 these moves in assembly and being presented with their well-deserved certificates.

Children’s thoughts…

Joshua: “We stand on one leg.”

Ciara - “I like the rocket roll.”

Rhiannon- “you put your arms out when you stand on one leg.”

James – “I like the crocodile. You put your knees to your elbow, it makes you stronger.”
